Hydrogel Vajacial Mask $25
Add a Hydrogel Vajacial Mask to a bikini wax or sugaring service. The Vajacial Mask is made with a unique hydrogel material that’s enriched with hyaluronic acid, green tea extract, and aloe vera to soothe, and reduce redness + irritation post-hair removal.
Hyaluronic Acid
Helps provide skin with intense hydration and helps it appear supple and smooth.
Aloe Vera
Helps to refresh, hydrate and energize skin while reducing the appearance of redness and irritation.
Green Tea Extract
An antioxidant-rich powerhouse that fights visible signs of aging and helps to reduce puffiness and calms the look of redness after hair removal.
Sugaring and waxing are two popular hair removal methods, but they have some key differences:
Sugaring
- Uses a paste made from natural ingredients like sugar, lemon juice, and water. It’s a more natural option, especially if you have sensitive skin or prefer avoiding synthetic chemicals.
- The paste is applied at room temperature and is used by applying it against the direction of hair growth and then flicking it off in the direction of hair growth. This method can be gentler on the skin.
- Often considered less painful because it doesn’t stick to the skin as much as wax. It’s gentler and can be less likely to cause irritation or redness.
- Can effectively remove shorter hairs, typically around 1/8 inch (3mm) long.
- The sugar paste is water-soluble, making it easy to clean up any residue with water.
Waxing
- Uses resin-based wax that may include synthetic ingredients and additives. The wax can come in different forms, such as soft wax (strip wax) or hard wax.
- The wax is usually applied warm. For soft wax, it is spread on the skin in the direction of hair growth, and then a cloth or paper strip is applied and removed against the direction of hair growth. Hard wax is applied and removed without the need for strips.
- Can be more painful due to the adhesion of wax to the skin. It can cause more irritation, especially if the wax is too hot or if you have sensitive skin.
- Generally requires hair to be slightly longer, around 1/4 inch (6mm) long, for the best results.
- Wax can be more challenging to remove, often requiring oil-based products for cleanup.
Both methods can leave your skin smooth and hair-free for several weeks, but the best choice depends on your personal preferences and skin sensitivity. If you have sensitive skin or prefer natural ingredients, you might lean towards sugaring. If you’re looking for a more traditional and widely available method, waxing might be the way to go.
