Appointments & Cancellations

For your convenience as well as our efficiency, Total Look Hair Design & Day Spa provides reminders the day prior to appointments. Your scheduled appointment is a time specifically set aside for you with one of our trained technicians. Keeping scheduled appointments will help to ensure prices stay affordable.

If you are receiving a facial or massage for the first time, we request that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill out consultation forms. In the event of late arrival, our staff will do their best to complete your service at the scheduled time remaining. The full fee for the service will still be charged.

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. Failure to do so will result in us requiring a credit card number to secure any future appointments. In the event of an inadequate cancellation notice, 50% of the cost of the service will be owing.

Group bookings and appointments with a duration of 2 or more hours will require a credit card to secure appointments.

Gratuities are not included in the price of services, however, they are graciously accepted for work well done.

Covid-19 Procedures

To Our Loyal Clients,

The health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees continues to be our highest priority and we will be following the lead of Canadian public health authorities at this important time. First and foremost, we want to assure our guests that we are taking all appropriate measures to ensure our salon is safe.


All guests and staff will be required to maintain a physical distance of at least two metres, except when receiving services or brief exchanges.

Occupancy in the salon will be limited as per the Provincial occupancy guidelines.

Guests having services may purchase products at the time of their service.

Products are also available for curbside pickup when ordered online or by phone

At this time ALL product purchases are non-refundable

Staff and guests must use the self-screening tool before booking an appointment. This tool is available at https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/.

Employees must stay home when ill with COVID-19 symptoms.

Guests will be screened when an appointment is booked and are not given an appointment if they have COVID-19 symptoms.

Guests will only be allowed into the salon by appointment. When you arrive, please call the receptionist to notify them you have arrived, as our waiting area is currently closed.

Guests should attend alone, without friends or family. If a guest requires assistance, please inform the receptionist when booking your appointment and arrangements will be made.

Appointment times and traffic flow will be managed to allow physical distancing and to maintain occupancy levels.

Hand sanitizer is available upon entry and at all stations for public and staff use.

Guests must sanitize hands upon entry to facility and prior to using the debit machine.

Proper handwashing protocols must be followed at all times.

We are following mandated protocols for social distancing or the use of impermeable barriers between stations.

Workstations, equipment, instruments and capes will be sanitized between patrons. Equipment, instruments and material that cannot be disinfected between guests will not be reused.

Washrooms will be sanitized frequently.

Snacks, coffee and other beverages will not be available and we ask guests not to bring food or drink into the salon.

Guests are asked to limit the items brought into the salon (ie, purses, jackets, etc).

Both service providers and guests will wear non-medical masks at all times. It is preferred that guests bring their own masks but the salon does have disposable masks available.

Service providers may wear protective gloves when providing services particularly when close touch or contact is involved.

Cashless or no-contact payment should be used to the greatest extent possible.

It is recommend guests leave an email to keep on their file where we can reach them with important updates


We will continue to provide services to our guests and are committed to monitoring this situation closely. We will share ongoing updates as needed in regards to any changes in operations. We also encourage our guests to stay up-to-date through Canada’s Public Health website.

The Staff & Management at Total Look

Salon Etiquette

As a courtesy to all our guests, we ask that all cell phones be turned off or be put on silent while in the salon.

Children under 12 are not permitted in the Spa Service area unless they are receiving a service themselves.

We at Total Look pride ourselves on having the strictest standards in hygiene. All tools are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized after every use. If our trained technicians recognize any nail condition which warrants further treatment or will prevent our polish from being used, they will inform you discreetly and polish may be purchased from the salon at a 25% discount.

Please notify us, upon booking, if you have any medical conditions or have recently undergone surgery.

In order to make every treatment comfortable, we provide sanitized slippers to wear in the salon, as well as robes and gowns for body massages.

We want your visit to Total Look Hair Design & Day Spa to meet all your expectations. If you are uncomfortable in any way, please inform your technician or the receptionist, and they will discreetly remedy the situation. If you feel displeased with any service, we would like the opportunity to make things right for you.

Impermeable barriers or 6ft distance is required between all stations.
